Strong travel brochure demand signals continued growth for packaged holiday sector

BP Travel Marketing by Menzies Distribution – the travel marketing experts connecting tour operators with travel agents and consumers – has continued to see strong demand for travel brochures, reflecting continued growth in the package holiday sector, despite cost-of-living pressures and lower consumer confidence in the wider economy.


Through its B2B online brochure ordering service, TradeGate, BP provides travel agents and home workers with holiday brochures and product updates so they are fully equipped to promote and sell holidays. It ensures that brochure displays are fully stocked, and that travel agents and home workers receive regular product information as well as the latest deals and offers on behalf of tour operators.


The level of demand for holiday brochures ordered via TradeGate is a strong indicator for the health of the holiday sector.


Following a 130% increase in orders after the easing of Covid related travel restrictions, 2022 has seen another year of significant growth, with orders up 20% on a year-on-year basis from January 2022 to 2023, and 34% in terms of the number of brochures despatched. The figures indicate that the bounce-back in the holiday sector post-pandemic remains strong, with the upward trend continuing throughout the first two months of the year.
