Operational growth at Menzies Distribution

Menzies Distribution is pleased to announce that we have strengthened our operations functions with the appointment of two key operational roles. Ian Nisbet has been appointed Operations Director Newstrade and Rick Jones has joined Menzies as Group Operations Director. These appointments are core to our smarter supply chain solutions, adding value to our customers and partners.

Rick Jones: Group Operations Director

Rick comes to Menzies with an impressive pedigree, having headed up Operations for organisations including; Spicers/ Office Team, B&Q, AS Watson, Entertainment UK and Selfridges. He has led numerous significant Supply Chain transformation programmes, focused on network change and integration across multiple disciplines, whilst managing large scale Logistics operations in the UK and Ireland.

Ian Nisbet: Operations Director Newstrade

Ian has successfully steered our newstrade operations through the most challenging of times at the heights of the Pandemic, throughout the easing of lockdown restrictions, through local lockdowns and into a new shape of normal as we continually adapt to all guidance and legislation. Ian has worked extensively across our network, and has been heavily involved in and led several major change initiatives.
