Menzies Distribution ranked as one of the UK’s top performing private companies in The Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 101

Menzies Distribution, the leading, UK-wide, time-critical logistics specialist, has been named as one of the UK’s top-performing private companies in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100.

The Top Track 100 ranks private companies in the UK based on their sales growth over the last three years.

In its first year as an independent company, following the separation of Menzies Distribution from John Menzies Plc and its subsequent sale to private equity investor Endless LLP, Menzies Distribution has been ranked 59th in the Top Track 100.

Menzies Distribution is one of only 10 companies headquartered in Scotland to be included in the Top Track 100 ranking. With a fleet of more than 2,000, including a growing dedicated electric fleet (currently at 70 vehicles), the Group delivers more than 30 million units per week and makes more than 25,000 daily deliveries to retailers across the UK.

As a key partner to Retailers and the Newstrade market Menzies Distribution continues to innovate with new services including; a specialist returns facility in Sheffield (which has processed in excess of 1.5m units since inception in June 2018), its all-electric London delivery service, Gnewt, and the pioneering flat-rate Highlands Parcel Delivery Service.

Gnewt by Menzies Distribution has the UK’s largest all-electric commercial vehicle fleet and is committed to supporting the growing demand for electric vehicle delivery. Each year Gnewt is saving nearly 100 tonnes of CO2 and travelling around 400,000 emission-free miles and is set to make its 10 millionth EV delivery by the end of 2019.
