Menzies Distribution are extremely proud to announce that we continue to support the NHS in their fight against Covid-19 by playing a role in the NHS Louisa Jordan hospital set up, by delivering supplies on behalf of NHS Scotland.
NHS Louisa Jordan is a temporary field hospital being built at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC) in Glasgow. Construction started on 31 March at the 10,000 sq. ft emergency facility which has capacity for 516 beds. Nearly 800 contractors and NHS staff have been working on the site.
Menzies Distribution will be taking stock either from the NHS warehouse at Larkhall or Stanford Logistics (a partner we are working closely with) and delivering to the Louisa Jordan hospital.
Pictured is our first delivery into the field hospital, NHS Louisa Jordan, in Glasgow using one of the vehicles provided free of charge by our transport partner, Fraikin.
